About Me
Updated: Dec 26, 2020
My Instagram account began about 7 years ago in the wonderful city of Pittsburgh when I was a senior in college thanks to a dear friend and talented artist (Check her out - @pmuirart). She took my phone created an account and every time we were together, she would post a photo for me along with hashtags (I barely knew what this was). For a while, I barely looked at it until one day she showed me a photo that had gotten far more positive feedback than anything I posted on my Facebook photography page, which is how I had been sharing my photos up until then.
Since then, I graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, moved to Philly, got my M.S in Cell Biology, and now am in my 4th year of medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
All along the way, I dabbled in portrait, wedding, and lifestyle photography. My activity on instagram ebbed and flowed over the years but I really became active on the platform once I moved to Philly. Walking around, exploring, and trying new foods while photographing this city is how I both established my Instagram and fell in love with the city of Philadelphia. I began meeting people with similar interests and kept developing my photography, editing, and social media endeavors. I now occasionally partner with various restaurants, marketing agencies, and brands both on a local and national level, but the majority of my activity and posts are my own personal photos - just for fun :).
